Great Things!

Good Day!

This past week was a little less busy with a mini vacation for me and a few clients on more extended vacations.

A picture from our drive up Mount Washington (for which we did not make it to the top).

The time gave us a chance to pause a bit and discuss all we have going on and how best to continue developing No Finish Line Fitness. Some of the topics were more immediate while others are more down the road.

Here are 3 things we are looking at currently:

Utilizing MyZone

If you are not familiar with MyZone, it is means of monitoring clients heart rate in a way we can encourage maximizing particular workouts. I am excited for the capability this will give us and how much it will benefit our clients. However, like any other tool, it can be misused. We will educate our clients on the safest and most effective ways to train with MyZone. We hope to roll out MyZone in September!

Multiple NFLF Center Open Houses.

NFLF has grown tremendously since reopening the doors to our Center back in December, but our goal is to make a real difference in the lives of people’s fitness and running. Our goal is to help people better understand subjects they may be misinformed, misled or just do not know about. Such as:

Instead of having a single open house and trying to mesh all the information, we have chosen to set up a schedule of multiple opportunities and offer specific information and education. We believe NFLF separates ourselves from other fitness businesses because of our training philosophy and focus on functional running and resistance training. Opening our doors and sharing our unique approach and knowledge is the best way to help people.

Saturday Morning Running

Since we are not currently conducting any training groups for runners, we are discussing the possibility of having a Saturday morning running group from the NFLF Center. While this running group would be free, it would offer certified running coaches, experienced instruction and fun runs for all levels of runner. We will put out more information as we determine the details.

I am excited about the difference we are making in people’s lives. The great comments we get from both our fitness and running clients really blow me away. This past week alone, multiple clients shared with me how they are able to enjoy activities much more than they did before training with us. I received a text one night from a client telling me a third person has complimented them on how they look! How awesome is that! Yesterday I did a follow-up gait analysis and the woman could not have been more pleased about her improved running form. This same runner also told me she has never been more confident with her running after training with us for the past 2 years.

We certainly appreciate the business we are blessed with, but to be honest, helping people succeed far outweighs any other benefit. Each week we continue to see and hear the results of our unique training approach and it is an awesome thing! Because our number one focus is the success of each unique person, we are grateful for each success story.

Time to move along and get myself ready for church. Have a great week a blessed one!
